Page Settings window

This is where you edit the settings for a page.

The elements of this window are described below:

Text for navigation bar link
Enter here the text that you want to appear in the website navigation bar for this page. There are no restrictions on text here. If you don’t want a link to appear in the navigation bar then preceed the link text with a # symbol.

Text for Browser Title bar
Enter the text here that you wish to appear in the Browser program title bar for this page. This is very important for search engine optimisation so ensure that you enter a descriptive title here that includes your keywords.

Template
Depending on the design of your website you may have several different templates available to use. Select the one that you want to use for your new page.

Note that if you change from one template to another some of your existing content may be lost. This is because different templates may have different ‘containers’ for content and your content may be assigned to a container that is only present on the original template.

Parent Page
The parent page is the page that is one level up from this one in the navigation structure. By changing this setting you can move the selected page to another section entirely within your website's navigation.

Permissions
Enter a list of the usernames that are allowed to edit this page. Seperate the list with commas.
You do not need to enter the names of users who have been granted full permissions for the site.
