The Media Library window

The Media Library is where all the media assets for your website are held.

The components of the Media Library window are described below.

Tabs
Click on the tabs at the top of the Media Library window to switch between the different libraries.

Address Bar
Below the Tabs is the address bar. When you click on one of the assets, the full URL of that asset will be displayed here. You can copy this address from here if you need to create a link directly to it.

New Folder Button
Click this button to create a new folder in the library you currently have open.

Add Button
Click this button to add a new asset to the library you currently have open.

Thumbnails Button
Click this button to display your asset list with thumbnail images.

List Button
Click this button to display your asset files as a simple list.

View Button
Click this button to view the currently selected asset in full.

Delete Button
Click this button to delete the currently selected asset from the media library.
