Introduction
A website that has been built using re:write is one that can be edited and managed online by the website owner.
The assigned web editors can quickly and easily make updates to a re:write website without needing ‘programming’ skills, and can do so from any Internet connected computer.
Once activated, the re:write software provides you with toolbars and controls that ‘overlay’ your web page allowing you to make changes in situ. These features are entirely invisible to your web visitors and do not affect the performance of your website.
The underlying framework of your website is protected from accidental change so you can rest assured that those editing the content of your website are not able to change anything that could potentially harm your website.
Getting started is as easy as logging in to re:write on your website. Once you have done so use the features on the re:write Toolbar to start editing your web pages.
For further help, take a look through our ‘How To’ guides, which explain in detail how to do specific tasks using re:write. You can also use the Help button provided within the re:write software, to look up information about a specific element of the interface, at any time.
