Overview of the Interface

The main features of the re:write interface are:

The Toolbar

The Toolbar is always present at the top of the page and is the gateway to the editing tools, media library and site management facilities.

The Media Library

The Media Library holds all of your pictures, documents and videos used on your website. You can manage all of these assets from the Media Library window.

The Site Management Facility

The Site Management window is where you manage the pages on your website and the people who are allowed to edit the web pages.

The Module Menu/Controls

The Module Menu* provides facilities that allow you to modify the individual building blocks that make up the content of your web page. These may differ in composition slightly depending on what type of module is involved. Examples of typical modules are, Text and Picture Modules.

* On versions prior to 3.2 the controls are in button form rather than a menu.
