Workflow for Editors

When making updates to web pages on your site a typical workflow would be something like this:

  • Login to re:write
  • Navigate to the page that requires amending
  • Click ‘Edit Page’
  • Use the Module Controls to modify the elements as required
  • Use the Media Library to add new assets as required
  • Publish the changes (or save as draft copy for review and later publishing)
  • Navigate to another page and repeat until all changes have been done
  • Logout of re:write

When adding new assets to your website the editor needs to know how to properly prepare pictures and documents so that they will be compatible with the web. If importing text from other applications, such as MS Word, there are some potential pitfalls to be aware of. These can be avoided by following our text import instructions.
