How to edit text on a page
To edit existing text on a web page:
Navigate to the page that you wish to edit using your website's normal navigation features, or just type in the address of the page into your web browser.
Click on the ‘Edit Page’ button in the Toolbar.
Find the text that you want to edit and then look in the top left corner of the text. There you will find a button that you can click to open the menu* shown below.
* On versions prior to 3.2 the menu was represented by a button bar instead.
This menu provides access to tools for editing the text module.
Note that there may be more than one module on your web page, each one has it's own menu.
Click the 'edit text...' link in the menu.
A new window will open on top of your web page. This is the Text Editor window.
If you wish to move this window you can do so by clicking and dragging on the bar at the top of the window.
Edit the text as required within the Text Editor, then click OK to confirm your changes.
Click the Publish button in the Toolbar, to commit your changes to your website, or click the Save as Draft button to save a copy of the page for later review.
Tip: The Enter key inserts a new paragraph. Use Shift-Enter to insert a single line-break.
