How to change a picture
To change a picture on a web page:
Navigate to the page that you wish to edit using your website's normal navigation features, or just type in the address of the page into your web browser.
Click on the ‘Edit Page’ button in the Toolbar.
Locate the picture on the page and click on the module menu button* in the top left of the picture. Then select the 'change picture...' link.
* In versions prior to 3.2 the menu is represented by a button bar.
A new window will open on top of your web page. This is the Picture Library window.
If you wish to move this window you can do so by clicking and dragging on the bar at the top of the window.
If the picture already exists in the Library then simply click on the picture and then on the OK button. If there are multiple folders in the library then you can view the contents of these other folders by clicking on the folder in the left hand column.
If the picture you want is not currently in the library then first make sure that you prepare your picture properly for web use, then click the Add button. The picture upload window will open.
Click on the browse button and find and select the picture you wish to add, then click the Upload button.
It may take a few moments to upload your picture. Click the Close button once it has completed.
Now click the picture in the library and click the OK button.
It is recommended that you also enter an alternate text description for the picture. This helps those using accessiblity aids to read your website. To do this click on the Settings button (the one with the spanner symbol on it) and enter a text description in the Picture Alternate Text box.
You can also add a caption to your picture via the module settings window and scale the picture.
Finally, click the Publish button in the Toolbar, to commit your changes to your website, or click the Save as Draft button to save a copy of the page for later review.
