How to add text to a page

To add new text to a web page:

Navigate to the page that you wish to edit using your websites normal navigation features, or just type in the address of the page into your web browser.

Click on the ‘Edit Page’ button in the Toolbar.

If the text you wish to add will naturally flow on from an existing block of text on your page then you can simply edit the existing text element. If you need to create a wholly new block of text then click on the Add Module button in the Toolbar.

Add Module button

In the Add Module Window choose where to place the new Text element, then click on the OK button (the Text module is selected as default so you don’t need to click on it).

Note. Your web page may have several designated ‘containers’ into which you can place the Text. These are displayed on your web page to help you see where to place your new  items. Make sure your selection in the Add Module Window corresponds to the name of the container where you wish to place it.

Once added the new Text element will contain a default paragraph of text. Click on the Edit Text button to replace this with your new text.
