If you wish to place the picture within a text element then you can do so by clicking the ‘Change Picture’ button above the text in question. Note though that you can only place one picture in each text element like this and it can be aligned either to the left or the right of the the first paragraph.

To add a picture on its own, click the Add Module button in the Toolbar.

In the Add Module Window make your selection as to where to place the new Picture element, click on the Picture Module in the list, then click on the OK button.

Note. Your web page may have several designated ‘containers’ into which you can place the Picture. These are displayed on your web page to help you see where to place your new  items. Make sure your selection in the Add Module Window corresponds to the name of the container where you wish to place it.

A placeholder image will be displayed once you have added the picture to your page. Click on the module menu button* and select 'change picture...' to select a new picture.

* On versions prior to 3.2 the module menu was represented as a button bar.

It is recommended that you also enter an alternate text description for the picture. This helps those using accessiblity aids to read your website. To do this click on the edit settings link in the module menu and enter a text description in the Picture Alternate Text box.

You can also add a caption to your picture via the picture settings window, and scale the picture.
