How to add a new page
To add a new page to your website:
Click on the Site Management button in the re:write Toolbar.
The pages on your website are displayed here. To add a new page click on the page immediately above where you wish to insert your new page then click on the Insert New Page button.
This opens the Insert New Page window.
Enter a filename (try and make this specific to your page, for example ‘about-us). Only use alphanumeric characters and dashes (no spaces allowed).
Enter the text you wish to appear in the navigation bar for this page (for example ‘About Us’).
Enter the text that will appear in the web browser title bar for this page.
Select a template.
Click on OK.
The new page is inserted into the list.
When first created a page will not be immediately active in your site navigation, this is indicated by the red ‘light’ to the left of the page entry. This gives you a chance to edit this page and input the content before activating it (use the Zoom button above the page list to jump to a page when it is not activated). Clicking on the red light will turn it green and activate the page.
